We are a husband and wife team with a passion for cat safety, enrichment and helping kitty guardians like us, delight in their fur kids safe outdoor environment.

We were quite successful in our respective construction trades for over 25 years, what in the world got us into Catio building? Well, the culprits were about 6 inches tall, maybe 12″ long, had daggers on their paws and the cutest little “mew’s” you’ve ever heard! We got our first two kittens! Spartacus and Zeus!  That was it, our passions changed! They became family members, and as loving responsible kitty guardians we knew opening the door to let them roam, with all the dangers that faced them on a daily basis, was not an option. After researching suitable materials and applying our construction experience, we built them a fun catio with independent access. Their quality of life was instantly enhanced and they were safe. Seeing their confidence and happiness grow, relishing in our peace of mind, we established Hellas Pet Enclosures, now Hellas Custom Catios, to help other guardians keep their feline family members safe.

… And yes, we did later add to our feline family by adopting Athena & Apollo. They were born into a feral colony that a local rescue helped. We fostered them during the winter months and well, couldn’t let them go!
